What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cincinnati Pool Manager position at Swimsafe Pool Management?

- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to swim and have strong customer service and safety skills.
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and be available weekdays and weekends during the summer season.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
Duties:
- Work with Management team, to provide a safe and pleasant work environment for employees. Help employees grow and understand SwimSafe policies.
- Provide surveillance of guests primarily in aquatic areas but also on decks and within the resort. Enforce the rules and regulations and render appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Respond to emergency situations in their assigned zone.
- Assist in communicating emergency situations outside of their zone.
- Maintain skills at test-ready level in accordance with SwimSafe Pool Management’s Training Program. Advise aquatics management of unsafe and/or unsanitary conditions. Assist guests in a polite and quick manner.
- Perform daily routine duties and maintenance of pool to ensure neat and orderly appearance. Attend all training’s offered by SwimSafe Pool Management.
- Work with our Safety Director to set up and perform in-service or various guard trainings as needed.
- Assist the Regional team in verifying timecards, creating schedules, completing performance reviews and tracking performance, maintaining a budget and other manager responsibilities as needed.
- Communicate with the HR Department and aide in processes as needed.
Qualifications:
Training available if needed
Current certification in Red Cross, YMCA or StarGuard Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid.
Physical Requirements:
Swim 300 yards, tread for 2 minute and retrieve a 10 lbs. brick at bottom of water. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work in a humid environment and/or be immersed in water for extended periods of time. Position sometimes requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
