Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Benefits Manager role located in State College, PA. The Benefits Manager will oversee the administration and management of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing FMLA and COBRA processes, analyzing benefits data, liaising with carriers, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize benefit offerings. The role requires close collaboration with HR teams to improve processes, drive employee satisfaction, and maintain a competitive benefits portfolio.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Benefits Administration and Benefits Management
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA regulations
- Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to review and interpret benefits data for decision-making
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with group benefits strategies and industry practices is a plus
- Experience with compliance and regulatory updates related to employee benefits
