Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Benefits Advisor, based in Du Bois, PA. The role involves growing our client base via networking and selling group employee benefit plans to employers to optimize their employee benefits programs, providing personalized recommendations that fit organizational needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting clients on benefits solutions, handling insurance-related questions, delivering top-notch customer service, promoting benefit offerings, and addressing renewal strategies. The Benefits Advisor will also provide training to clients and their employees on benefit program details as needed, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in Employee Benefits and awareness of insurance offerings and trends
- Strong skills in Customer Service and effective communication with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in Sales and the ability to identify and present opportunities to meet client needs
- Capability to train employees on benefit programs and policies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in the health insurance or employee benefits industry is a plus
- Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one upon hire
