Closing Specialist

Mortgage Closer:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Closer located in Birmingham, MI. The Mortgage Loan Closer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing closing documents, ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations, coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction, and finalizing loan funding. Daily tasks include communicating with borrowers, title companies, and lenders to obtain necessary documentation, updating loan files, and managing timelines to ensure an efficient and accurate closing process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review loan closing documents for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and borrowers to ensure smooth closings
• Verify all loan conditions are met before closing and disbursement of funds
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations, investor guidelines, and company policies
• Communicate with underwriters, loan officers, and escrow agents to resolve any issues
• Maintain and update loan files with all required documentation
• Manage closing timelines to ensure efficient and timely loan funding
• Provide support and guidance to borrowers throughout the closing process
