Position Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for every guest and sets the tone for the Sweetleaves experience. You’ll welcome visitors with professionalism and warmth, verify credentials in compliance with Minnesota OCM regulations, and ensure the front-of-house runs seamlessly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys curating an elevated, hospitality-driven atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in guests, verifying IDs and ensuring compliance with state requirements.
- Maintain an organized, welcoming reception area that reflects the Sweetleaves brand aesthetic.
- Manage the check-in process through our POS and customer management systems.
- Support guest education by providing accurate information about current product selection, store hours, promotions, and upcoming events.
- Coordinate communication between the reception desk, budtenders, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Answer phone calls and emails with professional etiquette, providing prompt and helpful responses.
- Promote our loyalty program and upcoming launches or brand events.
- Assist with online or pre-order pickups as needed.
- Uphold all company policies, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and positive work environment.
Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience (retail, spa, or boutique setting preferred).
- Professional, warm, and confident communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Passionate about cannabis
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High-school diploma or GED required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
