What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center-Based Behavior Technician (After School) position at Sweet Bloom ABA Children's Therapy Center?
Sweet Bloom ABA Children's Therapy Center provides ABA and related services to children with autism and related disorders. At Sweet Bloom, we are committed to providing quality services to the children and families we serve. Hence, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with young learners with autism after school to implement treatment plans designed by the BCBA to work on building their language/communication and social skills. Supervision towards BCBA fieldwork hours and/or LBA will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data.
- Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and related service providers.
- Maintain confidentiality of all medical documentation and adhere to HIPPA.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Passion for helping children grow.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Schedule
- Mondays through Fridays (3:00/3:30-7:00)
