Responsibilities
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Build lasting relationships through excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct route driving to visit retail stores, clients, or distribution points, ensuring timely deliveries and product placements.
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a focus on customer needs.
- Manage automobile transportation logistics, including safe loading, heavy lifting, and adhering to safe lifting practices during product handling.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and commercial driving standards to ensure safety on the road.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, pricing negotiations, and route schedules.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone or in person to build rapport and address inquiries promptly.
Experience
- Previous direct customer service background is highly desirable.
- Experience in commercial truck driving or route driving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective client communication and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
