Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- High School diploma or College Degree required.
- Updated First Aid and CPR training required.
- Must have the ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic Director.
- Must be able to relate well to students, parents, school personnel and the general public.
- Must be knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations CAP 1 Class through MHSAA preferred.
- Must strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanship
Essential Functions and Representative Duties
- Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.
- Be able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.
- Develop, promote and supervise all facets of your team and sport.
- Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.
- Assume the responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used.
- Prepare and execute practice and game plans and strategies designed to bring success to the program.
- Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Athletic Department.
