Swagelok Louisiana is seeking an organized, adaptable Administrative Assistant to support the business in a variety of clerical, administrative, and project-based activities. This is a high-visibility role that supports multiple departments and provides administrative support to senior leaders, including the President.
About Swagelok Louisiana
Swagelok Louisiana is the independently owned and authorized sales and service center for Swagelok in Louisiana and portions of Mississippi. We provide fluid system products, assemblies, training, and services to customers in oil and gas, refining, chemical, midstream, power, and transportation markets.
We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and follow through. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and takes pride in keeping things organized and moving forward.
What you will do
- Support managers with administrative work such as reports, presentations, data compilation, and file maintenance
- Assist multiple departments with tasks and projects as business needs change
- Handle general office duties such as greeting guests, filing, copying, office supplies, service calls, and minor IT troubleshooting
- Support quality activities including document revisions, record review, reporting, and follow up on due and overdue records
- Support sales administration, meeting preparation, customer training activities, and the On Call Program
- Help plan and organize company events and meetings, including leading the company Social Committee
- Run occasional offsite errands as needed
What we are looking for
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 3 years of experience providing administrative support to mid to senior level management
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork
