What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Event Coordinator position at SV Productions LLC?
SV Productions is seeking a Full Time Event Coordinator to join the Astoria, Queens office ASAP.
Applicant must have 1-2 years of experience in the events industry.
Creativity, organization, professionalism and finesse are key for this highly coveted position. Please see below for additional responsibilities and requirements for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Attend client site surveys and meetings as needed
- Support on researching venues and vendors
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and venues
- Create and update documents for projects; timelines, production schedules, agendas, etc.
- Point of contact for onsite production assistants – create PA tasks list and call sheets
- Collect invoices for wrap books and begin wrap books for projects
- Be a direct support to PM's and producers
- Be a lead for SVP interns with training, onboarding and more.
Requirements:
- Organizational skills and experience working on multiple projects at a time
- Experience sourcing vendors and venues in NYC and/or other cities in the U.S.
- A teamwork mentality
- Must have knowledge in Canva, Google Slides, Google Drive.
- The candidate must come into the office in Astoria, Queens, NY
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
