Event Producer

SV Productions is seeking an Events Producer to join the Astoria, New York office.

The ideal professional has a ​minimum ​of 5 years of event planning and producing experience, working from concept creation through to completion. They must have a high aesthetic taste level, ideally with experience working with luxury or prestige clients and excellent communication skills to work with top level client executives. Creativity, professionalism and finesse are key for this highly coveted position. Please see below for additional responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the production from client discovery and objective setting to creative inception and development, production management, onsite delivery and through to post production and wrap.
• Creative brainstorming, ideation and ability to deliver an aesthetically elevated experiential event that is on-brand strategy and culturally relevant.
• Production of complex schedules, itineraries and documentation.
• Sourcing, appointing, briefing and managing contractors and 3rd party suppliers throughout the project.
• Ensure all special event production exceeds client objectives at every step in the production process and sets a new benchmark for production excellence in the industry.
• Financial management; initial development and delivery of profitable budgets and achieving the best ROI for the services you procure.

Requirements​​:

• A broad production background within the fashion, design, art and/or lifestyle industries at an agency, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Direct communication and presentation experience with senior level executives on brand team.
• A solid understanding of audio visual, bespoke constructions, event planning and production.
• Ability to manage $500k event budgets
• Excellent supplier management / negotiation skills; Good team and crew management skills as well as excellent vendor relationships in place.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams.
