Role Description
This is a flex-time on-site role based in Farmingdale, New York, for a Senior Tax Accountant. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws. Additional responsibilities include using QuickBooks to generate financial statements, assisting clients with tax planning, and sales tax filing. The Senior Tax Accountant will work closely with clients and team members to deliver accurate and timely financial and tax-related services.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax knowledge
- Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements using QuickBooks
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using accounting and tax software
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Previous experience in public accounting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines
