Organization: SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical Center Position Overview: The Food Service Worker performs food preparation and storage, serving of meals and snacks, cleaning and storing of dishes, utensils, pots, and general department sanitation. The Food Service Worker may be assigned to patient food service, cafeteria service or catering and may be assigned to relieve in other areas. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Previous food service experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must be able to read, write and speak English as well as understand and follow written and oral directions. Pay Range is $29.96 to $37.62 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
