Maintenance Technician
Location: Door County, Wisconsin
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week
Pay Range: $24–$25 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support an affordable housing community in Door County, WI. This role is responsible for ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering responsive service to residents.
This position requires approximately 35 hours per week and offers consistent, steady work within a mission-driven housing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general unit turns

Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders

Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, repairs, and cleaning coordination

Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize long-term repair costs

Maintain building systems and common areas to ensure safety and compliance

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed

Assist with inspections and ensure property meets local, state, and affordable housing compliance standards

Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience required; multi-family or affordable housing experience preferred

Strong working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

HVAC certification or EPA certification preferred (not required)
