About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, P&C-licensed commercial insurance professional to manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

This role is designed for someone who already has hands-on experience working within commercial lines insurance and understands the day-to-day servicing of commercial policies, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, policy changes, coverage questions, and carrier communication.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and can independently manage multiple accounts and renewal timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

• Manage day-to-day servicing of commercial P&C policies, including endorsements, policy changes, certificates of insurance, audits, billing inquiries, and coverage questions.

• Review client policies and documentation for accuracy and appropriate coverage.

• Respond to client requests and provide knowledgeable guidance regarding commercial insurance policies and coverage.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, producers, and internal partners.

Renewals & Policy Administration

• Manage the commercial insurance renewal process from start to finish.

• Gather exposure and underwriting information from clients.

• Prepare and coordinate carrier submissions, proposals, and renewal documentation.

• Review policies, endorsements, and renewal documents for accuracy.

• Monitor renewal schedules and proactively communicate with clients regarding upcoming deadlines and coverage needs.

• Coordinate new business submissions and account onboarding with producers and carrier partners.

Carrier & Producer Support

• Communicate directly with insurance carriers regarding underwriting questions, policy changes, renewals, and coverage issues.

• Partner with producers to support client retention and ongoing account growth.

• Assist with marketing accounts to appropriate carriers when needed.

• Advocate for clients while maintaining productive relationships with carrier partners.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain complete and accurate client records within the agency management system.

• Ensure all policy documentation and account activity are properly recorded.

• Follow agency procedures, carrier requirements, and applicable insurance regulations.

• Maintain appropriate licensing and continuing education requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required.

• Previous professional experience working in commercial lines insurance required.

• Experience servicing commercial P&C accounts, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, policy changes, and coverage questions.

• Working knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverages.

• Experience communicating directly with insurance carriers and commercial clients.

• Ability to manage multiple commercial accounts, deadlines, and renewal timelines simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
