Business Banking Officer, VP

A growing community-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Business Banking Officer, VP to join its Fargo team. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven banking professional who enjoys developing new business, managing commercial relationships, and helping local businesses succeed.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial banking, business development, and portfolio management, along with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and building long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships, including commercial loans and deposits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with small and mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their financial needs and providing customized banking solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and generate new business
• Collaborate with internal teams including credit, treasury management, and operations to deliver a seamless client experience
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with all lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of a respected community banking organization
What We're Looking For
• 5 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, credit analysis, or a related financial services role
• Demonstrated success building and managing commercial client relationships
• Experience developing commercial loan and deposit portfolios
• Strong business development and sales skills with a proven track record of achieving goals
• Knowledge of commercial lending, treasury management, and business banking products and services
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities
