Federal Work Study Student - Writing Center

Sussex County Community College is seeking students for positions associated with the Federal Work Study Program.

To be considered for this position, you must be a current SCCC student who has completed the FAFSA and been awarded Federal Work-Study funds. Federal Work-Study is a need-based program, and eligibility is determined by financial need, enrollment status (at least half-time), and maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

Writing Center (2 positions available for Spring 2026)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist the community of Sussex County Community College in various genres of writing / oral projects. Assist with campus / class workshops on various types of communication
2. Office hours Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 4:30pm in person and Friday 9am – 7pm (flexible based on class schedule)
