Sussex County Community College is seeking 7 new Part Time Assistant Football Coaches for the 25-26 Season.
PT Assistant Football Coach Quarterback
PT Assistant Football Coach Defensive Line
PT Assistant Football Coach Offensive Line
PT Assistant Football Coach Running Back
PT Assistant Coach Football Defensive Coordinator / Strength & Conditioning
PT Assistant Coach Football Secondary
PT Assistant Coach Football Outside Backer / Safeties
Main Duties:
- Assist the head coach in conducting practice, including the running of drills, teaching techniques, and instructing in a manner consistent with the head coach’s philosophies.
- Assist head coach in evaluating both individual and team talents regarding recruiting and opposing teams/players.
- Collaborate with a head coach with in-game information such as strategy, statistics, and game management as requested by the head coach.
- Must be able to act as a liaison between head coach and players.
- Transport student-athletes to and from games and practices if needed.
- Be prepared to conduct the duties of the head coach in the event of his/her absence.
- Have a solid background in that sport and a willingness to accept new ideas and philosophies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to students.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous playing/coaching of football preferred. Knowledge of rules associated with sports is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required
Rate - $6,000 for the season
