You would:
- Develop electrical systems for machine control
- Develop power distribution systems (AC & DC)
- Create & update electrical schematics
- Specify and select electrical components such as power supplies, relays, sensors, drives, and controllers
- Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (SEMI, CE, UL, IEC, NFPA, etc.)
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments (FMEA, safety analysis)
You need:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or relevant technical degree)
- Three or more years of design engineering
Strong knowledge of:
- Power distribution systems and low-voltage design
- Knowledge of motion & temperature control systems
- Control systems (IPC’s, sensors, actuators, etc.)
- Analog and digital electronics fundamentals
- Experience with electrical diagnostic equipment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Experience with ECAD software
- Experience with ERP systems for document, material, BOM, and revisions
