Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular Sonography
Surgical Clinic, PC
Surgical Clinic, PC is seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while utilizing advanced vascular ultrasound skills to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered in Vascular Sonography (RVT/RVS) preferred, or willing to sit for the Vascular Registry examination.
- General Sonography registration is beneficial.
- Minimum of 3 years of scanning experience in a vascular laboratory and/or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound imaging techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, including:
- Venous Reflux Studies
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Exams
- Carotid Duplex Ultrasounds
- Aortic Duplex and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Exams
- Lower Extremity Arterial Studies
- Assist physicians with venous ablation and sclerotherapy procedures.
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
- Prepare comprehensive ultrasound reports for physician review.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
