Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician I to support server and computer repair operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting computer systems, testing hardware, assembling systems, and ensuring products meet quality and performance standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on computer hardware experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair server and computer systems
- Install software and evaluate system functionality and compatibility
- Build, test, and troubleshoot new products
- Perform benchmarking and document testing results
- Ensure finished products meet company quality standards
- Assist with mechanical assembly and cable routing
- Follow production procedures and quality guidelines
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of repairs and testing
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience required
- At least 1 year of experience in the electronic or computer industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and components
- Experience assembling computer systems
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly, cable routing, and quality standards is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
