Job Description:
We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating extrusion equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining product quality and supporting production goals.
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: Mon-Thur 5:40AM-4:00PM, Fri 5:40 AM-2:00 PM, Sat 4:40 AM-1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion equipment following standard operating procedures
- Monitor machinery during production to ensure efficiency and quality
- Complete production paperwork accurately and on time
- Perform quality checks and report defects or inconsistencies
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Support production goals and work effectively with team members
- Assist with inventory and other departmental duties as needed
- Communicate production issues with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in wet, hot, or cold warehouse environments
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to use calipers and tape measures
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred
