Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CBP Compliance Specialist to support bonded warehouse operations and ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate documentation, managing bonded inventory, and supporting audits and regulatory interactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, including bonded warehouse operations (19 CFR Part 19) and in-bond shipments
- Manage and audit bonded inventory, including receipts, transfers, shortages, and releases
- Review and maintain customs documentation (Forms 214, 216, 3499, 7501, etc.)
- Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, and regulatory agencies on shipments, exams, and releases
- Monitor and control bonded vs. non-bonded freight within warehouse systems
- Support CBP audits, site visits, and compliance reviews
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve documentation or inventory issues
- Respond to CBP requests (CF 28, CF 29) and assist with post-entry corrections
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with CBP standards
- Develop SOPs and train internal teams on compliance procedures
- Identify risks and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5 years of experience in CBP compliance, customs brokerage, or 3PL logistics
- Strong knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and customs documentation
- Experience working with CBP officers and regulatory agencies
- Familiarity with WMS systems and ABI/ACE platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or working toward certification
- Experience with CBP audits or compliance assessments
- Knowledge of FTZ operations and PGA requirements
- Experience in high-volume logistics environments
