In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as the key liaison between Sales, Plant Operations, and Research & Development (R&D) — ensuring seamless collaboration and turning customer opportunities into successful, scalable production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Customer Lead Development: Drive lead generation by identifying and targeting customers aligned with our core product capabilities (Sauces, Sous Vide & Smoked Meats, Broths, and Tallows/Lards). Utilize HubSpot CRM for outreach and pipeline management.
· Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the communication bridge between Sales, Operations, and R&D, ensuring consistent alignment on priorities and project updates.
· Project Management: Oversee new product development from concept to launch — coordinating timelines, specifications, and objectives across teams.
· Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and translate customer needs into actionable production and innovation plans.
· Operational Alignment: Partner with Plant Operations to evaluate production capabilities and optimize efficiency for new and existing product lines.
· R&D Collaboration: Work closely with R&D to guide product development using market insights and customer feedback on flavor profiles, formulations, and packaging.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, product data, and communications. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field required.
· Experience: Proven success in business development or project management within food manufacturing or a related industry.
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, production processes, and operational dynamics.
· Organization & Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
· Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to build trust and drive results across departments.
