What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health DSP / Direct Support Professional - West St Paul position at Supportive Living Solutions?
YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
- Engage naturally in rapport building and active listening

- Collaborate with clients to determine practical steps to solve problems
- Have a passion in working with clients to build independence
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
- Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Pay: $18-21/hour, dependent on experience
- $18: At least 6 months of full-time OR 1 year of part-time work experience
- $19: At least 2 years of full-time work experience with at least 6 months of relevant work experience
- $20: At least 3 years of full-time work experience with at least 1 year of relevant work experience
- $21: At least 4 years of full-time work experience with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
REQUIERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least six months of full-time or 1 year of part-time work experience in any field
- Certificate or degree in human services or related field, preferred
- Ability to pass Department of Human Services background check

You will be serving clients with a variety of mental health needs at our ICS Program in West St Paul. The service you will be providing includes:

Assistance with problem solving

Assistance with building independence in homemaking skills

Assistance with provider coordination
This role does not include completion of personal cares.
