Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Commercial Flat Roofer for an immediate start!
WEEKLY PAY!
- PAY: $25-$30/hour (based upon experience)
- HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40-50 hours/week)
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 6:00am – 3:00pm
- START DATE: ASAP
- DURATION: Temp to Hire
About the Role:
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Flat Roofer to join the crew. As a Commercial Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of flat roofing systems on commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Flat Roofing Systems: Install various flat roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices, including single-ply membranes (TPO, PVC, EPDM), modified bitumen, and built-up roofing (BUR).
- Roof Repairs & Maintenance: Identify and repair leaks, punctures, and other damage to flat roofing systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning debris and inspecting flashings.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare roof surfaces for installation or repair by cleaning, scraping, and ensuring proper substrate.
- Flashing Installation: Install and repair various types of flashing around penetrations, perimeters, and walls to ensure a watertight seal.
- Insulation Installation: Install various types of roof insulation to meet energy efficiency requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including fall protection and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Flat Roofer.
- Thorough knowledge of various flat roofing systems and installation techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures for commercial roofing.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
- PPE needed: steel toe boots, Helmet, Hi Vis Vest, Harness (a plus)
