HVAC Service Technician

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for a long-term (temp-to-perm) opportunity in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.

IMMEDIATE START!

PAY: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)
LOCATION: Tampa, FL
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with 7 years of experience in service and refrigeration. Chiller experience, retrofit work, and installation experience are strong pluses. This role offers long-term stability, growth potential, and a company-provided service vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Work on chillers (preferred) and perform retrofit/install tasks as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues and solutions
• Maintain a professional, customer-friendly attitude
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Experience with commercial HVAC service and refrigeration
• Chiller, retrofit, and install experience (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be customer-friendly and professional
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
• Must have standard HVAC hand tools and gauges
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have reliable transportation
