Commercial Flat Roofer

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Flat Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial low-slope roofing systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to produce high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial flat and low-slope roofing systems.
• Work with roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofing.
• Perform roof tear-offs, repairs, and replacement of damaged roofing materials.
• Install and repair flashing, seams, drains, scuppers, curbs, penetrations, and other roofing components.
• Perform leak investigations and identify the source of water intrusion.
• Complete preventative maintenance and emergency roof repairs.
• Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, ladders, lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
• Follow project specifications and manufacturer installation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively as part of a roofing crew while also being capable of working independently.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, customers, and other trades on the jobsite.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and workmanship on every project.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial flat roofing experience required.
• Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, or other commercial roofing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of proper flashing, membrane, seam, and waterproofing techniques.
• Ability to diagnose and repair roof leaks.
• Comfortable working at heights and on commercial rooftops.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and access commercial rooftops.
• Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions.
• Ability to safely perform roofing work while following fall-protection requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.57 - $25.83 per hour
