This Maintenance Technician role will have an emphasis for performing highly diversified duties for the overall care and upkeep of our facilities and grounds. This role will include construction, plumbing and facilities maintenance. It will also be the caretaker of the property which will include operation and maintenance of tractors, lawn care, ponds, UTV's and other powered industrial vehicles. Other duties may include troubleshooting various facility equipment and performing preventative maintenance in our aquaculture operations. This role will perform their duties with high levels of safety while supporting the company’s business goals and objectives.
Primary Job Functions

- Perform highly diversified duties to maintain company buildings, grounds and equipment.
- Complete facility construction/remodeling projects including building and grounds maintenance activities.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Read, interpret and follow work instructions, SOPs, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble, repair and maintain equipment.
- Maintain all assigned equipment and perform emergency, scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Sets up and operates a variety of general construction and shop equipment including saws, screw guns, basic welding and metal working tools to fabricate and repair parts.
- Perform general maintenance including, but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, material handling, mowing and other farm related equipment including fork lift, scissor lift, skid steer, tractor, lawn equipment and telehandler.
- Follow all company designated record keeping activities.
- Support maintenance related inventory tasks including organization of materials, receiving and check out to maintain proper part inventories.
- Comply with worker safety, biosecurity and food safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

- Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2 years maintenance experience; including grounds and facilities maintenance, light construction and farm, lawn and plowing equipment operations.
Licenses or certifications: Driver's license required
