This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fence Installer located in Portage, MI. The Fence Installer will be responsible for completing high-quality fence installations, working with a variety of materials such as vinyl, wood, and aluminum. Day-to-day tasks include measuring, digging post holes, assembling materials, and ensuring installations meet company standards. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment and interacting professionally with clients and team members.
- Experience with construction, carpentry, or fence installation is preferred
- Measurement and basic math skills, including proficiency in using measurement tools
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical endurance to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with clients and crew members
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a labor-intensive role is a plus
