Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned national automotive customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and business reviews with key accounts.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new customers and programs within the EV and electrification market.
- Develop account entry strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to position offerings and capture emerging EV market opportunities.
- Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive profitable growth through solution selling and value-based positioning.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering, program management, and operations teams to ensure successful program delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Stay informed on EV market trends, customer strategies, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and shape go-to-market strategies.
- Travel:
- Travel approximately 30–40%, primarily across the West Coast, for customer visits, industry events, and internal meetings.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in automotive sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the EV or electrification space.
- Proven success managing key accounts and winning new business.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, EV technologies, or related components.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Based in California with willingness to travel (30–40%).
