About The Position
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support to a senior executive or the Assistant Presiding Judge, serving as a trusted partner in advancing Court wide priorities and ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions. Working with a high degree of discretion and independence, the Executive Assistant manages complex calendars, coordinates cross-functional projects, conducts research and analysis, prepares executive-level communications, and facilitates informed decision-making on sensitive and confidential matters. The role serves as a critical liaison between executive leadership, judicial officers, court management, and internal and external stakeholders, requiring exceptional organizational ability, communication skills, and sound judgment.
Operating under limited direction, the Executive Assistant applies comprehensive knowledge of Court policies, procedures, and operational practices while exercising tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in all interactions. This position plays a key role in maintaining alignment with the Court’s mission and strategic plan by anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring timely progress on strategic initiatives. Executive Assistants may provide work direction to other administrative support professionals.

THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY
This position may be eligible for partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court.
Selection Requirements
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin:
OPTION I: 60 semester (90 quarter) units from an accredited college or university* and six (6) years of highly responsible** administrative support experience
OPTION II: Seven (7) years of highly responsible** administrative support experience
