Maintenance person

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across residential, manufacturing, and facility settings. Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment or structural needs.
• Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation problems and implement solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Oversee facilities maintenance projects including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
• Supervise or assist with residential painting projects or other specialized tasks requiring leadership or supervision experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards while performing all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, improve processes, and deliver excellent customer service within internal teams or external clients.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within manufacturing or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential.
• Hands-on welding skills with the ability to fabricate or repair metal components confidently.
• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in automation systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Supervising or leadership experience is preferred for roles involving team coordination or project oversight.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
