About the Position

We are a 66-room hotel looking for dependable, hardworking Housekeepers to join our team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in the overall guest experience. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms for arriving guests
• Make beds and change sheets, pillowcases, and other linens
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and assigned areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Replenish towels, toiletries, paper products, and other guest-room supplies
• Clean and maintain hallways, public areas, and other assigned areas of the property
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns
• Report maintenance issues and room deficiencies to management promptly
• Ensure guest rooms meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards before being released for occupancy
• Assist with laundry, linens, and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas
• Properly use and care for cleaning supplies and equipment
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures
• Handle guest belongings with care and follow proper lost-and-found procedures
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and other team members
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within expected timeframes

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and instructions
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Friendly and professional when interacting with guests
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift housekeeping supplies and linens
• Ability to work at a consistent pace throughout the shift

Schedule

Schedule: 6 days / week

Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on hotel occupancy and business needs.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
