Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for residents.
• Use cleaning equipment effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, outdoor work, and janitorial tasks to enhance cleanliness and safety.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture or heavy items safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any maintenance issues observed during routine checks.
• Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized according to health standards while adhering to safety protocols for equipment use.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory checks of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance needs promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including dusting, floor cleaning, carpet care, and surface sanitation.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to perform outdoor work when required while maintaining high standards of cleanliness outdoors.
• Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for client interaction.
• Experience in housekeeper management or supervising other cleaning staff is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and implementation of proper hygiene practices across all areas.

Pay: $12.50 - $17.50 per hour
