Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial services, with a strong focus on providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Handle floor care responsibilities such as polishing and buffing to preserve flooring quality.
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces according to established protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks as needed.
- Adhere to hotel or facility standards for hospitality and customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing and buffing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or large-scale custodial operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is desirable but not required.
