Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to meet hotel standards.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and other supplies to enhance guest comfort.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain various flooring types.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and standards for guest room maintenance enhances service quality.
• Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction when necessary.
• Experience with housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in supervisory roles.
