We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing outstanding customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a friendly attitude
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, payments, and special requests
- Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure data accuracy
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred
- Knowledge of night audit processes and hotel management systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems
- Ability to handle guest relations diplomatically and professionally
- Familiarity with resort or hotel environments, demonstrating hospitality management expertise
