Duties
- Assist in planning and executing sports-specific training programs
- Support coaches during practice sessions and competitions by providing guidance and encouragement to participants.
- Lead warm-up routines, skill drills, and safety checks to ensure a safe and effective training environment.
- Maintain clear communication with participants, parents, and staff to foster a positive team atmosphere.
- Operate safety equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) when necessary and ensure adherence to health club standards.
- Manage behavior and promote good sportsmanship among participants to create an inclusive and motivating environment.
Skills
- Prior experience as a collegiate lacrosse player (men's or women's).
- Strong background in sports coaching, physical education teaching, or sports-specific training instruction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct young adults.
- Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering teamwork and discipline.
- Experience working with children or students in childcare or educational settings.
- Familiarity with AED operation, safety protocols, and basic first aid procedures.
