Job Description:

Campus Title: Facility Operations Assistant 2 (Farm) Equine Temp Service

Budget Title: Facility Operations Assistant 2 - (Farm)

Unit: CSEA

Professional Rank and Salary Range: Temporary Service - $42,641 / $20.42/hr. 40 hrs per week

Duration: Temp Service - ASAP for 1 Year duration

Brief Description of Duties:

SUNY Morrisville is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant 2 (Farm) for the Equine Facilities. This is a temporary position. This position is needed for student supervision, animal welfare, and facility care. Work week will include a weekend day.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

General farm labor, horse care, and student supervision. Will be required to operate specific equipment and will supervise students using equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Non-Competitive: one year of service as a Facility Operations Assistant 1; OR two years of experience and/or training in agricultural work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on a farm, utilizing farm equipment, and caring for the animals on the farm.
