Job Title: Permit Analyst/CSR/Admin AssistantEmployment Type: Contract / Full-TimeWork Mode: Onsite / Hybrid / Remote (as applicable)Schedule: Business Hours (Monday–Friday)Location: [Insert Location]Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Application Support Specialist to support the intake, review, and processing of permit and service-related applications. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in customer service, administrative support, front desk operations, call centers, or office coordination who are comfortable working with forms, data, and customer inquiries.No prior permit experience is required — training will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and process permit or application requests for completeness and accuracyEnter and maintain application data in internal systems, databases, or tracking toolsRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding application status, requirements, and next stepsProvide clear guidance to applicants on documentation, forms, and procedural requirementsCoordinate with internal departments to route applications and resolve missing or incorrect informationTrack application progress and ensure timely follow-up and resolutionMaintain organized records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standardsPrepare basic reports, logs, or summaries related to application volume and statusDeliver professional, courteous customer service at all timesRequired Qualifications1 year of experience in Customer Service, Administrative Support, Office Assistant, Front Desk, Call Center, or Clerical rolesStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling forms and dataComfortable working with computers and multiple systemsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar toolsAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teamsStrong organizational and time-management skillsTraining & SupportFull training provided on permit processes, systems, and proceduresOngoing support from supervisors and team leadsClear process documentation and job aids availableWho Should ApplyThis role is a great fit for candidates who have worked as:Customer Service RepresentativeAdministrative AssistantOffice ClerkFront Desk CoordinatorCall Center AgentReceptionistData Entry ClerkIf you enjoy helping people, working with documents, and ensuring processes run smoothly, we encourage you to apply.
