Position Summary
The Culinary Manager provides leadership across kitchen operations to ensure consistent, high-quality dining experiences for residents. This role oversees food quality, recipe standardization, sanitation, safety compliance, and staff training while supporting and developing kitchen team members. This position is responsible for supervising daily kitchen operations, maintaining regulatory standards, and ensuring meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and with excellence. The Culinary Manager collaborates with leadership to plan menus, support special events, and uphold a positive, team-focused work environment.
Schedule Details
- Shift: Rotation between 1st and 2nd shift as needed
- Full-time Status
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
What This Role Looks Like Day to Day
- Maintain and enforce standardized recipes, food quality, and presentation standards
- Train, coach, and support kitchen staff across shifts
- Oversee food safety, sanitation, and compliance audits
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Manage inventory, prep processes, and kitchen organization
- Collaborate on menu planning and special events
- Assisting with prep, stocking, and general kitchen responsibilities
- Ensure proper documentation (logs, inspections, cleaning schedules)
- Provide operational support, including covering shifts as needed
