What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Supervisor & Trainer position at Mel Trotter Ministries?
This position is responsible for all facets of food production and planning. This person will maintain day to day operations of the kitchen and will coordinate setup, service, and cleanup of all special food service events held at MTM. The position is responsible for creating healthy and balanced menus. This person is responsible for training each member of the Culinary Services team and ensuring that all members of the food service staff are preparing and serving meals according to Mel Trotter food service standards. They will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen as well as making sure that equipment is in working order and that health and safety standards are consistently met. This position is also responsible for the training and supervision of MTM program guests in the job training program.
