Essential Functions Of The Job
The Engineering Specialist will be responsible for delivering results that include the following:
- Debug G code
- 3D modeling
- 5 Axis Programming
- Design holding fixtures used in CNC machining and create tool drawings
- Work and communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization
- Interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form
- High school education/GED
- Minimum of three years of CNC programming experience
- CREO/PRO MFG or ESPRIT experience
- Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Creative thinking of ways to improve parts and processes
- Working knowledge of shop math and basic engineering calculations
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- NC SIMUL
- Swiss programming
- Ability to create MACRO Programs
- Able to generate part routings
