Job SummarySunlarus Energy is looking for a motivated Solar Installer to join our field operations team. This is a general labor position that requires mechanical aptitude and a "safety-first" mindset. While direct solar experience is a plus, we are willing to train candidates who have a solid background in roofing, electrical, or general construction and are eager to master the technical aspects of solar PV and battery storage systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Installation: Assist in the physical installation of residential and commercial solar arrays, including rails, standoffs, and solar modules.Electrical Support: Support the Lead Installer in managing PV and THHN wiring, as well as the mounting of inverters and Rapid Shutdown (RSD) devices.Site Preparation: Help stage equipment (panels, inverters, racking) at the job site and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards, specifically regarding ladder safety and fall protection.Experience & RequirementsConstruction Background: 1 years of experience in general labor, roofing, or electrical work is highly preferred.Solar Exposure: Prior experience with microinverter or string inverter systems is a "nice-to-have" but not a requirement.Physical Capability: Ability to climb ladders, work on various roof pitches (comp shingle, tile, metal), lift at least 50 lbs comfortably, and work in hot conditions.Technical Aptitude: Comfort using power tools and a basic understanding of how to read measurement tools.Reliability: A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to our Orlando warehouse or various job sites.Company DescriptionAt Sunlarus Energy, we combine innovative solar technology with a first-of-its-kind rental model to make renewable energy effortless.
