๐Ÿ’ผ About The Role

As an Operations Manager for sunday, your ultimate goal will be to help deliver a best-in-class experience to restaurateurs. Your scope of action will start when a restaurant decides to use our solution: we will create its business account, collect all relevant info, provide them with tailor-made QR codes, train the restaurant team, and then help them make the most of our solution through top-notch account management. Compound that with thousands of restaurants and you have the makings of a beautiful and complex operational system. Come help us make it seem simple!

You will report to the Senior Operations Manager, and work daily with our teams in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, and beyond! We are just starting out in the Los Angeles market and are looking for a self-starter to make it a success. Plus, you will also get to visit countless restaurants and enjoy their food :)

๐Ÿ”ฅ Key Responsibilities

  • Launch new restaurants โ€“ seamlessly guiding them through the onboarding process in a timely manner and training staff on site
  • Increase sunday adoption by ideating and executing on creative ways to get restaurants and diners to use our product
  • Ensure best-in-class restaurant retention through stellar customer service, strategic account management, and strong relationship building
  • Identify operational issues and improvement areas through data analysis, bringing solutions to the table and helping to implement them globally
  • Engage in the continuous improvement of the processes you and your teams build together

Note: this role will require 30-50% travel

๐Ÿ˜Š About You

  • Based in Los Angeles
  • 2-5 years experience in customer success, account management, or operational roles at startups, food industry, hospitality, or professional services companies.
  • Strong and persistent problem solving skills to identify and create solutions for restaurant partners despite immediate roadblocks.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills and ability to identify opportunities from managed spreadsheets, trackers, CRMs, and changing datasets.
  • Owner & growth mentality.
  • Passion to scale a start-up and an itch to roll-up-your-sleeves and build.
  • Project management skills i.e. you are structured, reliable, detail-oriented and communicate efficiently with all stakeholders.
