Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, bathrooms, windows, tables, ect using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures efficiently across different areas, adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely to prevent injury.
- Conduct outdoor work including sweeping walkways, cleaning outdoor furniture, and maintaining exterior cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and dusters; ability to operate them safely.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions on cleaning procedures and use cleaning detergents correctly.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly without fatigue or injury.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces; flexibility to adapt to various environments is essential.
