Responsibilities

• Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring food quality and presentation are maintained.
• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and cleaning equipment following safe lifting practices.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by cleaning tables, sweeping floors, and managing waste disposal to uphold health standards.
• Support food safety protocols by handling food properly during service and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Micros POS to coordinate orders and service flow.
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Experience

• Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurant or hospitality settings.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic kitchen operations enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role.
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous for order accuracy and efficient service.
• Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests confidently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling while maintaining safe lifting practices is required.
