Minimum Requirements:
- A Colorado Journeymen Electrician’s License A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Ability to collaborate with different groups and functions to ensure a safe and reliable workplace A willingness to continually learn and improve A diversity mindset, coupled with a strong work-ethic Dedication to the environment, as well as safe work practices
- Isolate and energize electrical equipment above 480 VAC Address temporary power needs when required Work effectively even when obstacles prevent planned work from being conducted Demonstrate standard methods and processes to complete work Ask for input from others and incorporate their ideas into your decisions Take conclusive action when a quick response is imperative, or under conditions of uncertainty
- You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday OR 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday, depending on business needs
- Paid overtime, often 100-600 hours per year based on plant needs
- You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces
- This position is safety sensitive
- In alignment with Suncor’s value of Safety Above All Else, we conduct pre-employment drug testing, employment verification, education verification, background checks, and other pre-employment assessments as a condition of employment
- This is a union represented position under USW 12-477
- $55.16 per hour with annual increases
