Responsibilities
- Lead structured and engaging tumbling classes for students of different ages and skill levels.
- Teach proper technique for foundational and progressive tumbling skills such as rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, handsprings, and flips.
- Safely spot athletes and provide corrections that support steady progress.
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and disciplined class environment.
- Follow Suncoast Gymnastics class structure and curriculum.
- Prioritize athlete safety through proper equipment use, supervision, and class management.
- Communicate professionally with parents, athletes, and team members.
Experience
- Experience coaching tumbling, gymnastics, cheer, acro, or related skills is preferred.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tumbling technique and progressions is a plus.
- Spotting experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
